Well, some interesting tidbits were seen in the all star race.
To start: Kenseth finally seems to have woken up with the COT and a mile and a halfer. I thought that Matt would have been able to take advantage of Carl's setups for the cookie cutters a lot earlier in the season. Maybe the driving style required simply did not suit him, but, until Saturday, Matt simply had no clue. Maybe the test there helped him out a lot. It also appears that it helped a lot of teams catch up to Carl unless his handling simply went away on the last segment.
Chevy's still are no where near as dominant on the cookie cutters as before the COT.
Early Qualifying wagers:
2 units Robby Gordon -110 ov Waltrip
0.85 unit Harvick +100 ov Bowyer
